New dishwasher from DC Products

Two independent washing zones feature in the new DC Warewashing dishwasher. Introduced in response to the challenges faced by catering operators in coping with fluctuating levels in demand, the DC Optima OD1450A double-hood pass through also helps drive down operating and energy costs in the kitchen whilst further enhancing cleaning performance.

Through innovative design and engineering the double-hood optimises energy, water and chemical consumption by intelligently sensing the volume of throughput and activating one or both independent washing zones. The second zone, if not required, remains in an energy and cost-saving standby mode.

By fitting a steam heat recovery system, not only is steam and heat removed from the kitchen environment but energy use can be further reduced by up to 25% as the captured steam, generated during the wash cycle, is transformed into the energy required to heat the incoming cold water supply.
